CoolWallet's defining feature is its form factor — it's literally the same size as a credit card. At 0.8mm thin and weighing just 6 grams, it disappears into your wallet. The device uses an E-ink display (Pro model has a small touchscreen) that's readable in direct sunlight.
The card is constructed with a flexible PCB and an IP67 waterproof rating. It can handle drops, splashes and the occasional trip through the washing machine. Charging is done via a proprietary adapter that resembles a card reader — less elegant than USB-C but functional.
CoolWallet uses an EAL6+ certified secure element — a higher certification level than Ledger's EAL5+. All private keys are generated and stored exclusively on the secure element. The device never connects via USB, which eliminates an entire class of computer-side attack vectors.
